Quarterly Median House Prices for All Capital Cities from March 1980. The spreadsheet contains preliminary prices for the most recent quarter, revised prices for previous quarters, moving annual prices based on revised figures. Revised figures are available for Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Canberra. Prices are not revised for  Hobart, and Darwin. Weighted average median house price for Australia is calculated starting from the September quarter 1996. Prices for Darwin are given starting from the December quarter 1986; prices for Hobart are given starting from the March quarter 1991.
