AUSTROS has hit new milestones in promoting the rise of women in auctioneering with a historic representation of females on the judging panel.
REIA President Hayden Groves said AUSTROS 2022 will take a small step forward to promote Australia’s and New Zealand’s talented female auctioneers.
“Franchise Principal Sandra Masters has gone from judging to competing, continuing her pioneering role in AUSTROS history.
“Ms Masters previously judged AUSTROS over 2018 and 2019 and has been the only female judge until this year to hold that position.”
Mr Groves said he was delighted that in a historic first the AUSTROS judging panel will include for the first time four female judges.
“This includes Jenna Dunley who was the first ever – and to date only – female finalist in AUSTROS 2019.”
A total of 16 agents across Australia and New Zealand are set to compete for the top gong.
Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) will be holding the event from 16-18th October which will be chaired by Chief Judge Jesse Davidson.
Hosted by REINSW, this year’s AUSTROS will see industry-leading property auctioneers descend on Sydney to battle for the pinnacle industry award.
