AUSTROS is here and anyone unable to make the esteemed and exciting event can now watch it by live stream.
REIA President Hayden Groves said this year’s AUSTROS will see Australia and New Zealand’s industry leading property auctioneers descend on Sydney to battle for the peak industry championship this Sunday (16 October 2022).
Mr Groves said “AUSTROS is back, bigger and better than ever after a two year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over this time auctions were called from lockdowns across the Tasman, breaking many suburb records so we anticipate the quality of the competition this year to be the best yet.”
“AUSTROS 2022 has attracted 14 decorated auctioneers from across Australia and New Zealand to compete for the top gong with five finalists to be announced on Monday 17 October 2022 after a day of what we widely anticipate will be outstanding heats.”
Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) will be holding the event from 16 – 18th October hosted by the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) and chaired by Chief Judge Jesse Davidson.
Industry and members of the public can watch the heats and finals live over 17 and 18 October 2022:
Mr Groves thanked the AUSTROS key sponsors and supporters.
“Showcasing our amazing auctioneering talent is not possible without our wonderful host, the REINSW, and of course our fantastic sponsors AuctionsLive, Commonwealth Bank, Harcourts, Reality Assist and REI Super.”
