First Home Owners' Grant Does Help Home Buyers

The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) confirms that, over the long term, the First Home Owners’ Grant (FHOG) is providing positive assistance to first home buyers.

REIA President Ms Pamela Bennett says, "The FHOG for existing houses is an important part of the housing affordability mix, with 70% of Australians choosing to buy an established house as their first home".
