The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) will launch the REIA Commercial Agency Engagement Program today in a bid to tackle issues facing the Australian commercial real estate industry.
REIA will be holding free consultation events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over the next month for commercial agents to have their say on what particularly matters to them within the context of REIA’s national advocacy agenda.
REIA President, Mr Hayden Groves said the Australian commercial real estate sector is worth almost $1.1 trillion and having just undergone a major disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s time to focus on supporting this important sector of our market.
“REIA, with the support of our member state REIs, will be seeking views on the impact of post-COVID issues, interest rate rises and inflation with a view to elevate the voice of Australian commercial real estate practitioners,” he said.
Part of the REIA Strategic Plan 2022-2025 (REIA 2025) includes better servicing commercial agencies, so REIA has partnered with commercial property management software company Re-Leased, to include the important perspectives of Australia’s commercial real estate practitioners and provide them with targeted support.
Future events are planned in all other capital cities; or to express interest in attending or hosting an event in your city or region, please email reia@reia.com.au.
