REIA welcomes back realestate.com.au to sponsorship family

The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Australia’s #1 address in property, realestate.com.au.

 

REIA CEO, Anna Neelagama said the affiliation between Australia’s peak real estate lobby group and real estate portal has proven a successful union for both the REIA and realestate.com.au

 

“We want to continue working with realestate.com.au to improve operating conditions and reduce costs for agents throughout 2022.

 

“REIA’s strategic partnership with REA enables us to connect with consumers of real estate services in an efficient and comprehensive way given realestate.com.au is a true national portal.

 

“It provides REIA tremendous reach.

 

“We are pleased to announce that REA Group’s flagship portal realestate.com.au will once again be the presenting partner for the REIA National Awards for Excellence 2022.”

 

REIA was formed almost a century ago and represents 85% of Australian real estate agencies across Australia.

 

REIA is the leading body for Australian property and has been instrumental in lobbying governments for policies to protect consumers and agents alike.

 

This includes the 2019 Federal Election negative gearing campaign which had an outreach of 10 million to Australian property customers, ensuring that commissioned real estate agents were included in the scope of JobKeeper and securing State based exemptions for automatic cross border occupational licensing for real estate agents.

 

REA Group Chief Customer Officer, Kul Singh added that the ongoing sponsorship presented an excellent opportunity to forge an even stronger working relationship with Australia’s national body for residential real estate.
